A Memorial for All of Us!

Six Months  in the AfterMath. The Lights of Faith. March 11, 2002

In memory of the many victims who have lost their lives and their  loving survivors (who are all of us.  The Tragedies we all are enduring and to bring some dream of peace and love from all of these horrendous, inhuman acts of terrorism on September 11, 2001.

Broken Links

They say memories are a Rainbow, so very true

I never wanted a rainbow, I only needed you

A million times I needed you, A million times I cried for you

If love alone could have saved you, You would have never left

In life I loved you dearly, In death I love you always

In my heart you hold a place, No one will ever fill

If tears could build a stairway

And heartache makes a lane

I'd walk the path to heaven

And bring you back again

Our family chain is broken

And nothing seems the same

As God calls us

One by one

The chain will link again.

If tomorrow all the things were gone I’d worked for all my life,
And I had to start again with just my children and my wife.
I’d thank my lucky stars to be living here today,
‘Cause the flag still stands for freedom and they can’t take that away.
And I’m proud to be an American where as least I know I’m free.
And I won’t forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
And I’d gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land God bless the U.S.A.
From the lakes of Minnesota, to the hills of Tennessee,
across the plains of Texas, from sea to shining sea,
From Detroit down to Houston and New York to LA,
Well, there’s pride in every American heart,
and it’s time to stand and say:
I’m proud to be an American where at least I know I’m free.
And I won’t forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
And I’d gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land God bless the U.S.A.
